The rain tree has delicate branches, and tiny light-green leaves. Native to the Brazilian rainforest, it will develop some spines later in life to protect itself from any rainforest predators. The leaves fold up at night or in subdued light and wake up in the morning, just like us. The flowers look like fuzzy cotton balls, and they smell wonderful. This plant is very easy to care for indoor, and makes a wonderful houseplant.
