The Blue Jacaranda (Jacaranda mimosifolia) is a strikingly beautiful tree native to South America, particularly Argentina, Brazil, and Bolivia. It is well-known for its stunning display of vibrant, trumpet-shaped, blue to purple flowers that typically bloom in spring and early summer. The tree can reach heights of 50-65 feet, can be cut back if you wish keep small or Bonsai.. with a spreading canopy that provides ample shade. The Jacaranda has delicate, fern-like leaves that add to its ornamental appeal. The foliage is bright green and bipinnate, giving the tree a light, airy appearance. During the blooming season, the tree often becomes a focal point due to its prolific and vivid flowers, which can cover the entire canopy. In addition to its aesthetic qualities, the Blue Jacaranda is valued for its adaptability to different soil types and its moderate drought tolerance once established. Seedlings are over 1 tall in half gallon. Does fine here in Florida, I have had one outside in the yard for 6yrs, very beautiful tree. Very drought tolerant once established.. if you was going to bonsai one it's the perfect size to start it in that direction.. have any questions about these plants feel free to ask.. I don't ship.. thanks for looking and have a great day..
